About Rewilders
Who I am, The Rewilders ethos, Who I work with.
Who I am
Hello! I’m Katie.
Mum, wife, Christian, optimist.
Professional Coach. Outdoor enthusiast. Loves cheese.
Home in Sheffield.
Rewilders Coaching was born from a deep love for people, and a passion for making the world a better place.
My marketing and leadership career at companies like Marks & Spencer, Mars, and Wheyhey! taught me two crucial lessons: businesses succeed when they invest in their people, and purpose-led companies — those who exist to make the world better and not just profit — can be really powerful vehicles for change.
This led me to leave my corporate career, and start my own coaching business helping purpose-led people and organisations figure out who they were, what incredible skills and value they had, and what to do with that.
I now work with anybody who is out to make a difference. Whether that is executives, leaders, graduates, founders, professionals, parents or retirees. If you want to do good in the world, but need some support along the way, I’m probably the coach for you.
Are you or your organisation out to make the world a better place?

It's for anyone who wants to make positive changes and needs support to do so.

Outdoor coaching, or walking coaching, is a powerful approach that combines the benefits of professional coaching with the restorative effects of nature. We'll walk and talk in the beautiful scenery of Sheffield or the Peak District, allowing the natural environment to help you gain clarity and fresh perspective.
-
You don’t need to be! Our coaching walks are tailored to your pace and preferences (they can be as steep or as gentle as you like).
The focus is on creating an environment that unlocks your best thinking, not on strenuous exercise.
We choose locations that are easily accessible from Sheffield.

No two coaching sessions are ever the same, as each conversation is tailored to what you want to focus on and what feels most important to you at that time.
All coaching sessions however include these three fundamental elements
Creating the time and space for you to offload and start to untangle your big ball of wool. This typically looks like you sharing what’s going on for you and what’s occupying your head space, me listening to you deeply and reflecting back what I’m hearing, and a gentle level of challenge and questioning to help you go deeper.
Engaging with nature. The greatest mental health benefits and shifts in thinking occur not just when you’re out in nature, but when you truly engage with it. Listening to the birds, marvelling at the view, standing in awe of ancient trees, feeling the rain on your skin - nature calms our nervous systems, offers profound wisdom and unlocks fresh thinking.
Working with exercises, tools, frameworks or ideas that provide a different perspective, shift your thinking, or unlock new insights. Examples of this are working with DISC profiling, eliciting values, the drama triangle, the squiggly shape concept.

Whilst the majority of my outdoor coaching occurs in the Peak District and Sheffield, I also travel to meet clients in other locations, most commonly green spaces in London such as Hampstead Heath.
Depending upon the location, additional travel requirements may result in an additional fee.
Sometimes circumstances mean that clients and I cannot meet in person, in which case we either work together online over Zoom, or over the phone whilst walking in our different locations.

"This has been the best 55 minutes ever.
I feel really prepared and clear on what I need to do for my pitch next week. I know I'm going to be super confident because of all the things we spoke about.
Thank you so much for such a brilliant session Katie!"

The Rewilders name
Where does it come from?
In nature, rewilding is a process in which an ecosystem is handed back control and allowed to return to its natural state.
In this state, as it was intended, we see it flourish, self-restore and thrive.
Rewilders life coaching helps people to do the same thing.
My job is to hand you back control of your life and work, and to help you come home to the unique and gifted person that you already are.
Whether you’re a parent, leader, building your career or a business, rewilding will equip you with confidence, courage and self awareness, so that you can become an unstoppable force for good in our world.
Rewilders’ Impact
Rewilders exists to help make the world a little bit of a better place. Through my work I support the following organisations:
1.5% of my revenue goes to Hatch Enterprise to enable underrepresented entrepreneurs to bring their world-changing ideas to life. I am also a volunteer mentor for founders on their development programmes. Find out more here.
A tree gets planted for every new client who joins the ‘Rewilders Coaching Programme’ through Trees for Cities. Find out more here.
Client Work
Since starting my business I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of different people across a variety of industries and professions to deliver thousands of hours of life coaching.
Ranging from those working to get more people outdoors, to those teaching prisoners how to bake, to those creating neurodiverse workplaces, to those serving up nutritious, local, sustainable food.
Below are some of the amazing, purpose-led businesses that I am so proud to have supported.
If you would like the services of any of these amazing purpose-led businesses, feel free to drop me an email and I’ll happily introduce you to the people behind them.
